Airpark Village Wins Employment Zoning Amendment
There is an existing neighborhood plan for the East Mulberry Corridor that was changed to allow for development at this site. This process included interaction with 255 surrounding property owners around the airport. Once a development plan has found consensus, it will be submitted to both the County and the City for processing. The site lies in the County but County has an agreement with the City that all urban development near City boundaries must include City approval. Eventually this site must be annexed. Monthly meetings were held with the surrounding property owners who decided the issues raised by the topics below:

Final Meeting was held on Tuesday, February 15th.

slide show presentation that is a summarization of the submission planned for March, 2005 for rezoning, annexing and amending the East Mulberry Corridor plan.  It includes open space landscaping, special district and height limits for the project.
